When we receive an order online, Woocommerce will send auto notification to our email. And when we received the payment from customer, the status of the order is set as processing. Woocommerce comes with customer notes function where we can update the status of their order through Woocommerce admin.
Then, when we send out the parcel, we can also update the customer with their tracking number through that customer notes as well.
